There was a story this morning in The Times-Picayune discussing The Cable Show coming to New Orleans, but also talking about the quality of shows on cable television. TV columnist Dave Walker wrote that “cable is winning the quality-TV derby so widely right now that broadcast’s best-of candidates, fine as they are… fight for shelf life on discerning DVRs.”
