Here’s an important lesson for you: If you’re going to work in the sun all day, wear sunscreen. Not a good lesson to learn the hard way.

Today was Day One for CableCares and I was working at Sarah T. Reed Elementary. As mentioned here, the school consists entirely of mobile units. We built a playground, an outdoor classroom, some units for plants, and more. It was a long, hard day, but it was fantastic to help out.

If you were working there today on the playground, let me say a word to you: mud. Threw out my shoes and socks, took ten minutes to scrub it all off. That was some kind of crazy mud.
