One of the highlights of The Cable Show ‘08 is sure to be the Battle of the Bands. This charity event is a musical competition among bands made up of industry professionals drawn from cable MSOs, program networks, vendor companies and the media.
Bands will play three-song sets and then be judged by a combination of a celebrity panel and audience members who will text their votes. We will be offering you video profiles of the competing bands this week. First up is The 5th Revision, made up of employees from Scripps Networks (home of HGTV, Food Network and D.I.Y.). The band members are:
- Doug Klein on drums
- Jeza Kepler on vocals
- Spencer Corden on piano/keyboards
- Stewart Pack on bass
- Phil Fuson on guitar
